Portobellos are also called portabellas. The difference is really just a marketing thing. These are brown crimini mushrooms that grow to be about 4 to 6 inches (about 10 to 15 cm) in diameter. Some of the mushrooms here while sold as portabellas seem to have only grown to just under 4 inches across.
